Each of our styles require a specific finish treatment to preserve or enhance the specific coloration and style that is intended.

Water Based Polyurethane Finishes
These are for the Customer who wants a very durable finish that requires infrequent maintenance.  Some of our more sophisticated colors can only be accomplished with sophisticated, multi stage staining treatments followed by a Water Based Polyurethane finish. This is due to it’s tendency to cure without altering the color of the specialty stains that some of our styles have. Polyurethane is a topical treatment.  And you can feel comfortable knowing that this finish has very low V.O.C. emissions, well within the strictest limits in the U.S.  

U.V.Cured Polyurethane Finishes
These finishes are for the Customer who wants the advantage of a zero V.O.C. finish that can also be machine applied very economically.  It is ideal for the Hospitality Market due to it’s zero emission status, and also for how economically it can be applied on large quantity orders.

European Natural Oil Finishes
These finishes are for the Customer who desires a  natural, time honored oil finish with good durability.  European Natural Oilis a vegetable based oil finish treatment, and has zero harmful V.O.C. emissions. European Natural Oil Finishes are found on 70% of all European hardwood floors today.  They were used to finish The Ryder Cup Headquarters, the famous Turning Torso building in Oslo Sweden, and countless casinos and high end hotels in the States.

Chinese Tung Oil Finishes                             
Tung Oil is extracted from the seeds of the Tung Tree native to China.This natural oil finish was used by the Italian Marco Polo to seal his ships against the elements in preparation for his voyages in the 1300s returning from China to his native Italy.It offers excellent protection. It has been used in various historical rooms in the White House, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the Canadian House of Parliament.
